2020 is been a tough year for event sector and has changed the way we look at events.

Remarkable changes are affecting this industries and introducing virtual and hybrid events. First of all the increased safety measures at the in-person events are one of the most important change.

If 2020 has been the year of virtual events, 2021 will the year of the hybrid ones; people from all over the world are writing, blogging, making photos and video and sharing it.

According to the AMEX 2021 Global Meetings and Events Forecast, hybrid events are “now by necessity at the forefront of meeting design.”

Almost all of
all of virtual and hybrid events would require the full services of an agency and for this reason pre-produced digital content, and post-event video editing are a big part of the skills needed.

Another important part of this new era is the importance of sustainanility, that is not a trend to follow but it's something here to stay.

All of the industries are improving their social sustainability and corporate social responsibility.  Everyone is becoming more conscious of the importance of every small touch, focusing on saving the environment and nurturing local communities.

The other trend that came to stay is the inclusion thas never been more important and it will continue to be stronger.

For some time now, event organizers have embraced the spirit of inclusion at events: speaker rosters, event teams, and even the food served at events are more inclusive, respecting the diversity of their audience.
